This research paper: This 8 page paper looks at the way in which IBM has faced and implemented change. The company, first registered in 1912, has seen many changes and operating in a dynamic environment. The paper starts by showing the diversity of the development of the company. By the 1960’s there was a need to change and adapt to different market forces, a new emergent/umbrella strategy was developed.
