While the entire field of psychology is governed by a code of ethics that mandates specific behavior among its members, there are times when what is deemed ethical by one is interpreted wholly different by another. This perspective is apparent in a variety of degrees and disciplines within the overall field, however, one might readily surmise how it has been particularly noticeable where issues concerning gender are – and have been – concerned.
