This research paper: This 19 page paper explores the way in which Jack Claytons The Innocents (1961), Robin Hardy’s The Wicker man (1973) and Gary Sherman’s Death Line (1972)have stretched and developed the British horror genre. A brief history of British horror films is then given before the content and context of the three films is discussed to assess the way they challenged and changed the way horror films were made.
