  • Was Thomas Edison a Genius or Simply Seeking the Limelight?

10 pages. There are those who feel that Thomas Edison was clearly a thinking man but certainly no genius. When asked to further explain, they would tell us that Edison enjoyed being in the limelight and achieving monetary success, as would most of us. There are also those who believe that Thomas Edison was a remarkable genius, and that nobody but another genius would be able to replicate the designs he devised.
