This research paper: This 4 page report discusses by a Florentine who called himself Jacopo Sansovino (1486-1570) who was responsible for much of the great architecture of 16th century Venice. The paper considers the works of Sansovino in relationship to the great Michelangelo Buonarotti (1475 – 1564). During his life, Sansovino’s architectural designs may have been just as much, perhaps even more, admired than Michelangleo’s unique and evocative sculpture. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
