The very notion of human personality is what distinguishes one from another, a foundation upon which the quest for individuality is a primary focal point (Brody, 1988). The extent to which two schools of thought revolve around the either/or principles of genetic or situational influences is both grand and far-reaching; to single out one as holding more power over personality development than - and even to the exclusion of - the other is to inaccurately surmise how the myriad traits that characterize human personality are rigid and finite.
