The factors that contributed to Henry's resignation speak to the notion of his ethical forthrightness when it comes to producing safe and functioning equipment. That his company landed the deal of a lifetime that would ultimately "put them on the map" did not mean a thing to Henry, whose first and foremost concern was to produce a product of which he could be both proud and assured of its safety. Clearly, Henry's motivation for moving up the corporate ladder was not for money; rather, his interests lie within the ability to do a job and do it well – what follows from such integrity is why Henry was promoted in the first place.
