ESSAY ON: Job Shadowing: More Frequently And At An Earlier Age

Number of Pages 6

This research paper: 6 pages in length. By the time students graduate high school, many still have no idea of which direction they would like to head where career choice is concerned. This lack of focus often leads to taking jobs for the sake of earning a paycheck rather than embarking upon an occupation that offers professional satisfaction and economic security. Giving children the opportunity to cultivate a fundamental understanding of what it means to "go to work" as well as the rewards and struggles inherent with one's career choice is the foundation of job shadowing; that children are exposed to myriad facets of how and why work takes place gives them the foundation upon which educated decisions can be made about future life choices. Bibliography lists 7 sources.
