This research paper: An 8 page paper discussing some of the laws of physics that apply specifically to gases. One of the three states of matter, gases share many similarities with liquids in that they are free-flowing and can be compressed. However, gases have much lower density and so are subject to laws not applicable to liquids. The paper discusses contributors to the ideal gas law and the kinetic theory of gases. There are many other contributors to today’s existing laws of physics as they apply to gases, including Bernoulli, John Dalton, Michael Farady and Thomas Graham, to name only a few. Today’s laws truly have evolved over the course of centuries, rather than decades. Bibliography lists 9 sources.
