Public schools do not have the same luxuries as their private counterparts, and one of the most glaring illustrations of this is the type of cultural identity it should or should not promote; within the subcontext of this issue, for example, is that of the bilingual debate. Public schools have an obligation to reach each and every student no matter what kind of learning disability might exist due to cultural considerations, however, this otherwise realistic expectation is not only both complex and expansive but also wholly illogical when bearing in mind the extent to which cultural nuances are many, varied and simply impossible for instructors to approach in a comprehensive manner.
