ESSAY ON: Media Impact Upon Foreign Policy

Number of Pages 10

This research paper: 10 pages in length. The media wield tremendous power when it comes to having an impact upon various aspects of daily life. From cultivating bias to planting ideas to skewing facts, mass media are guilty of much indiscretion that often has a detrimental and domino effect upon the given subject about which they are reporting. Indeed, the information explosion has been both a boon and a bust for diplomatic practice, inasmuch as details are available to the public at the drop of a hat yet there is no longer any level of privacy or secrecy afforded governmental policy or decision-making. That the media are present – either permitted or not – at everything from private meetings to the very battles of war speaks to a grand and far-reaching monster that has infiltrated what was once an informed but not inundated global society. Bibliography lists 10 sources.
