ESSAY ON: Nursing Burnout: How Duties Play A Role

Number of Pages 5

This research paper: 5 pages in length. There exists an inherent connection between those who enter the nursing field and their desire to help others. They discover that the best way to make a difference in someone's life is to be there in their most desperate of times. This is why nursing is such a tremendously rewarding career: just by offering a piece of oneself, an individual can make a lasting impression, while at the same time assisting in a person's recuperation. However, as uplifting as this field may be, there is a significant downside in that a high percentage of nurses become burned out after considerable time in and around a health care facility. The writer discusses how intensive care and neonatal nurses are more prone to burnout than their counterparts. Bibliography lists 3 sources.
