ESSAY ON: Social Disobedience

Number of Pages 5

This research paper: 5 pages in length. When comparing the socially disobedient behavior of biblical Amos with the contemporary notion of social disobedience, the student will come to the realization that while time periods might make it appear as though each approach is diverse in nature, the very essence of cause reflects as a common denominator between the two. That such socially disobedient individuals as Martin Luther King and Ghandi sought to create a better world by way of speaking out against man's atrocities toward his own kind is akin to Amos's attempts to draw attention to a society of people whose own quest for personal indulgence proved detrimental to the masses.
