The UAW and GM's Saturn Division had enjoyed a symbiotic relationship for years, with each side working for the long-term benefit of the company while protecting workers' rights, as well as their responsibilities. UAW members realize that there are thousands of workers overseas more than willing to eliminate auto maker positions here, and that it is in their best interest to work for increased productivity and efficiency.
